Ontario Golf Club Rules
- Ontario Golf Club is a licensed facility. Only alcoholic beverages purchased at the club shall be consumed on premises.
- Golf Memberships are available on a yearly basing. No person shall be denied membership, or to the club facilities solely based on race, creed, color, national origin, gender, sexual identity or disability.
- Members, their guests, and daily fee patrons are responsible for any property or equipment damage. Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children while on premises, and also for damages caused by them.
- Ontario Golf Club is a golf facility. The golf course may not be used for the purpose other than playing golf. Walking, jogging, fishing, or riding bicycles on Ontario Golf Club property is not allowed.
- All transactions shall be paid by cash or credit card. There are no member charges.
- Pets are not allowed on premises.
- Club management may adopt new rules, delete rules, or amend rules at any time in its sole and absolute discretion.
Golf Course Rules
- Golf enjoyment is our most important goal. Playing with proper golf etiquette will allow all players the best experience while enjoying the course.
Examples of poor behavior include, but not limited to, damage to the course, profanity, club throwing, or emotional behavior. - The Golf Shop staff shall have charge the course, and will supervise the starting arrangements for all players.
- All players must check into the golf shop before beginning their round.
- You are expected to play 9 holes in no more than 2 hours and 15 minutes. Playing "ready golf", and keeping up with the group in front of you will allow you to play in a comfortable pace. A group that falls one or more holes behind should allow faster groups to play through. You may be asked by the golf shop staff to skip a hole to improve pace for the entire golf course.
- Proper dress is required to play. Women must wear a shirt with either sleeves, or a collar. Men must wear a collared shirt. Everyone must wear the appropriate bottoms (Golf shorts, skorts, or skirts). Examples of inappropriate attire include T-shirts, denim or jeans, gym shorts, metal golf spikes (soft spikes allowed only). Management reserves the right to refuse a person's entry onto the golf course while attired in a manner that is deemed inappropriate.
- Please respect the golf course, and leave it better than you found it. Replace divots, rake bunkers, and repair ball marks on the green.
- Groups larger than 5 players, or starting play on the 10th is prohibited, unless given permission only by the golf shop staff.
- The golf shop will pair groups together if needed, based upon the volume of play that day.
- All golfers should use the cart path provided at all times. The ability to drive the golf cart nearer greens and tees shall only be given to individuals who have possession of a handicap placard. Golf carts should never be driven within 30 feet of greens and tees.
- Only persons holding a valid driver's license are permitted to operate golf carts at any time. No more than two persons shall ride in the cart at one time. No one should ride on the back of a golf cart.
- Booking tee times shall be available to members 10 days in advance. Tee times for non-members shall be available 7 days in advance. Individuals are encouraged to update the golf shop of any changes in your reservation.
